I'm a mother who spends hours and days and weeks researching every little detail before making the jump! I have only ONE complaint which you can read in the CON section of this review.I did a TON of research and in-person deciding between the Joovy scooter, the baby jogger city, and the maclaran si. (and every other stroller you can imagine! but those were the final three). I'm VERY happy that I decided on this one over the others.Pros:-Folds easier than most strollers, however you do need both hands. Folds fairly compact compared to others as well.-Huge Storage basket without being in the way when I walk (I'm 5'9)-Very comfortable height to push-Maneuverability! LOVE the way I can push it with ONE HAND. Seriously. I can push this thing on-handed all day long!-I love the benefit of handlebars that I can hang things from, without having it be those annoying regular umbrella handles. These ones are very comfortable of the wrists unlike regular umbrella handles.-Huge canopy with peek-through window-Lays down a lot. not flat, but enough to change a diaper!-Foot rest pops out for when the child is laying down.-Not too heavy-Wheels handle very well over bumpy paths or even when you are walking very fast.-Looks good - I've gotten many comments on how it just LOOKS like a nice, durable stroller. Friends think that I paid well above the actual price.Cons:-The material the handles are made out of is very rough and after pushing to the park every day for about a week, the skin on the palm of my right hand (remember I said I LOVE pushing with one hand) was all red and a layer of skin was being torn off! I couldn't do dishes or anything that directly contacts my right palm for over a month!! It is still healing and whenever I push the stroller I throw a hand towel over the handles because that rough material just tears my skin up! I'm planning to try to wrap it with that tape for tennis rackets or hockey sticks. I'll update my post to let you know if it works!-There is no snack tray. I think I may have found one from another company that will fit this stroller though, I'll update when/if I get one.

And I'm glad I did. It's a terrific stroller. It was easy to put together. Just basically attaching the wheels and sliding the cup holder into place. And it rolls like a dream. A real smooth ride for my 6-month-old. It maneuvers great, too. As well as the BOB, which costs more than twice as much. I had a hard time deciding between a really lightweight umbrella stroller and something more substantial. And weight was a real consideration since we live in a second floor apartment. This was a good compromise. I can carry it up and down one flight of stairs without much of a problem, and even carried it up with the baby in it, sleeping, after our walk this afternoon. I can't carry it folded down the stairs with one arm with the baby in my other arm, and then set it up with one hand while still holding my 21-pounder. But I'll live. More features and you end up with a heavier stroller. And I can't imagine doing without - a.) The huge sunshade. We live in Florida, and I walk the baby a lot during the day, so this is really essential; b.) The big basket. You can fit a lot under here; c.) The toy pockets for baby. I put a toy in each one today, and he took them out and played with them when he got bored; d.) The peek-a-boo window; and e.) The parent's pocket, for keys, cell phone, etc. Now for the criticism, and I only have one -- the color. This stroller comes in black, greenie and orange. I didn't want a black stroller or an orange stroller, so I went with greenie, hoping it wouldn't be as bright as it looked on the Joovy web site. It is. It's flourescent green/yellow. My only wish is that Joovy would make this stroller in apple green, like the Joovy Kooper, and maybe also in that same beautiful shade of blue as the Joovy jogging stroller. Aesthetically, I think the Scooter is the most pleasing. It's a very balanced design, whereas the Kooper has that 'pitching forward' look, and the jogging strollers look sort of 'hoisted up.' It's just...Sooooo bright.
13 of 14 people found the following review helpful.I have gone through several strollers since my son was born. My son is now three and I needed something spacious enough for a tall three year old. I live in the city and walk him to school each day, errands, etc. This has plenty of room for him and basket is a very good size. I don't collapse it often because I am able to keep my stroller open in our apartment hallway. I will say that if i had to fold it up on a daily basis I would be frustrated. It does not fold up very compactly and is a real hassle to open. Regardless, I honestly wish I had, had this for my son right from the beginning. Great city stroller. Also a very smooth ride, and love the handles. I am 5'3 and it is just a little tall for me, but not enough to make it uncomfortable. LOVE IT!
