6 of 6 people found the following review helpful.i love this seat. the canopy is huuuuge, which is good for summer AND winter. it is a little large, it doesnt fit well in our 04 jeep grand cherokee behind the passenger seat, but it fits perfect in the middle (which is where it is anyway). it isnt too heavy either.all in all, i love it and my daughter loves it too. she is almost 8 months and 27in so she's got some room to grow still until she outgrows it :)
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.I love this carseat for my baby. At first we felt it was very heavy and bulky, since it is a bigger carseat that can fit up to a 32" and 35lb baby. But after checking out the all the other carseats available at babiesRus, we realized our Teutonia has so much better cushioning than any others there, including the convertible ones. This carseat is the same design as the Graco Snugrider 35, but DEFINITELY has way better cushioning. In term of the "better fabric", I can't tell the difference on that as much. Our baby has never had problem with this carseat, unlike the stories I heard with babies crying everytime they go into a carseat. In fact, she LOVES sleeping it in when we go out. She sleeps in her carseat better than she can sleep anywhere else. When she was 2 months old, she once slept in it for 4 hours straight without waking up while we were shopping at IKEA. She probably would have kept sleeping, if we didn't wake her up for feeding. And she never nap that well at home.After realizing how little cushioning there is in some of the other baby carseat including the similar Graco snugrider, I am glad we got the teutonia. I cannot imagine baby would feel comfortable sitting in a carseat with pretty hard/firm surfaces.Another thing I love about this carseat is the HUGE CANOPY. Along with the privacy cover, it can cover the baby up completely from sun and noisy people (especially when they were a newborn and is mostly sleeping when you're out). A note is that because of such a big canopy, it's a little bulky to pass the cover under the handle, but if you SWITCH the position of the 2 U-shape thing where the canopy attaching to the carseat, it'll make it easier.Also, the plastic tubing insider the canopy that hold the curve shape poked out through the fabric, and I had to saw the fabric up to keep it inside. But these are just minor issue for me, that I don't mind dealing with. I just wish Teutonia would make a covertible carseat, because my baby is probably going to outgrow her teutonia soon, and have to look for a convertible carseat and I can't find out with as much cushioning as the teutonia!On a side note, if your baby is going to born in the winter mouths, I recommend getting the JJ Cole Car Seat cover as well. It was very convenient. We didn't have to dress her in layers when we go out, or worry about the loose blanket. You just zip it up, and you can easily unzip it for better airflow if it's warm indoor. But one thing to note is that after a few months old, our baby was getting too long, and her feet would kick and push against the cover (our baby is 99% tile by length). But by then it's already spring for us (and we're in california) so the cover wasn't necessary anymore.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.We love this seat and have no complaints about it. The huge canopy is awesome, and the color/aesthetics are better in person than online. Our baby seems very comfy in it. The seat costs a little more than others, but is a little better quality than others too - I wasn't sure if it would be worth the extra $, but for us it has been.
