Only downside is that it does not fold down small and weighs about 8 lbs more than other double strollers but good luck finding a good double stroller that does. Our nanny drooled over this stroller and thanked me 10 times for getting it. The twins love it. We've gone through the forest preserve with it and never felt the bumps or gravel. LOVE MY STROLLER!!! My husband won't take any other stroller. This stroller makes the Maclaren look cheap and annoying.Pros: - No center wheel to trip on (hard to find elsewhere!!!) - Smoothest ride around - Fits through all doorways - Good looking - Great sun canopy - Ability to lay the seats down as little or as much as you want - Space to add a toddler seat (maybe I will have another after these twins ;-) ) - Adjustable handlebar makes my 6'3" hubby love this stroller tooCon: - Under-compartment is difficult to get into - Not a super compact fold - 33 lbs
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.I have 6 month old twins and a three year old and wanted a versatile, all-terrain stroller that would accommodate all of the kids and our daily walks in parks, bumpy sidewalks, dirt, light jogging, etc. I am also a big researcher and very indecisive, so it took me awhile to purchase this stroller when comparing it to the Baby Jogger City Mini Double or the BOB Duallie. We are SO happy and LOVE this stroller. We also own a BOB Revolution that we used for my son, so I was hoping that the overall ride of the stroller and ease of pushing/steering the Valco would not disappoint. It has a very smooth ride, rolls over rocks/dirt, through mud, sidewalk bumps, etc wonderfully. We love the larger footplate on the front that my older son sits on to 'rest' and occasionally sits and rides on it when we are in the zoo or strolling through the mall. I purchased the hitchhiker board for the back as well for him but we have not used it yet. I found the options to add a third seat/passenger, comfort of seats (head huggers for now, lots of head room for later) and all-terrain, larger tires were the main selling points. The twins have been sitting in the stroller since 4 months old and with the recline and head huggers, they were comfortable, secure and loved it.The sunshades are big and cover very well. There is not a parent cupholder, but I have stored drinks, etc for myself in the back pockets of each seat (there are zip off pockets/little bags that you can zip off to vent the stroller). They are great for keeping everything at a moments reach (burp cloths, binkies, etc and your personal items). The pockets on each side of the bottom of the stroller have come in very handy for keeping bottles or sippy cups, toys, etc and things you also don't want to have to dig around in the basket for or keep upright. The basket underneath is large but somewhat hard to fit larger items into because of a main divider bar down the middle of the basket entry. My diaper bag strap expands to fit the diaper bag over the handlebars of the stroller, so I am rarely trying to fit anything too large in the basket. It has not been a problem to fit things that can collapse a little first (a plastic bag of groceries fit through). All of the pockets on the stroller have helped a lot and I do not have a problem with working with the basket. The wheels of the stroller pop on and off easily. We have to take them off to transport the stroller in the trunk of our car (not a van or SUV) but they are very quick and easy to put back on. Usually this is our stroller for our neighborhood walks and parks and I use a double snap n go for the car and carseats.Valco customer service has been great as well. We had an issue with one of our tire tubes after we received it and they sent a replacement within 5 days, no problem. It is a very well made stroller with lots of bells and whistles and a great ride. It does not have a super compact fold but that is hard to find with all-terrain doubles. It does collapse well and is easy to unfold. Would highly highly recommend!!!
