Product Description
The new Ultralight Caboose is the lightest, most maneuverable tandem stroller available on the market today. At 21 pounds the Caboose Ultralight is 20% lighter than the original Caboose and far lighter than most double strollers. When we say maneuverable, we mean it. The Caboose Ultralight can navigate narrow spaces with ease. And thanks to its minimal weight, you can steer with just one hand. The large, comfortable front seat now includes three reclining positions for the front riding passenger. When the front seat reclines to its lowest position, your older child can still stand on the rear platform. The patented Stand On Tandem design gives your older child the freedom to choose between walking, standing and sitting. Parents tell us this single feature alone has given their child a head start at developing a healthy independence, a win win for both parents and kids alike. Parents of an infant or newborn will love that each Ultralight Caboose is outfitted with a Universal Car Seat Adapter that snaps easily into the tray housings. The new Ultralight Caboose has linked rear brakes adding extra security when the stroller is parked. The new 4 wheel suspension will make for the smoothest ride for your back seat passenger. A new and improved larger storage basket will hold plenty of gear for your outings. Joovy's signature oversized canopy has been designed with a sun visor extension that provides shade for both children and protection from the elements. The Joovy Parent Organizer is included with every Ultralight Caboose. After your outing, the Caboose Ultralight folds super compactly for storage. In fact, it can be placed in the trunk of most compact cars. And at 21 pounds, lifting the Ultralight in and out of your car is simple and easy.

25 of 25 people found the following review helpful. We have a 1 year old and a 5 year old. When planning our trip to Disney World we knew that the 1 year old would require a stroller with the following items:- ability to recline for nap time- large canopy for blocking sun- food tray for eating snacks while walking around the park- easy folding for getting on and off of transport trams- storage for snacks, diaper bag, other items- place for the adults to put water bottles or other items- easily maneuverable for getting through crazy crowdsThat's a lot of "must have's"! We also wanted something that would allow for our 5 year old to take a break when needed. It was also nice to help contain him in heavy crowd areas. This stroller did it all! Both of my boys loved riding around in it and I never had a single problem with the stroller. The basket is big and whatever we could not fit below we hung from the back bar. The side pockets in the bottom bag is also nice for getting at things quickly. I could push the stroller and turn corners by only pushing with one hand it worked so well. We also looked at the Joovy Ergo stroller but felt it was too large to handle and not allowing the baby to recline was a deal breaker. Long days at parks mean the baby has to have a place to take a nap at some point. I found the shade helped a lot but I also used a light blanket (aden and anais swaddle blankets are perfect) over it as well to help block breezes and other distractions. My older son was jealous of the cool "fort" that it created. We also purchased the sun cover and the rain cover. Neither of which we ended up using but do fit nicely on the stroller. The stroller was great for traveling through the airport as well and was simple to fold and open with one hand.Overall I would recommend this to anyone with two children especially for traveling through big parks like Disney World.

As much as I love my BOB Duallie, there are just certain situations where it's too wide, for example going to the mall. We needed a stroller that allowed our two little ones to be comfortable, was narrow enough to fit through aisles, and easy to maneuver. This one fit the bill!! It is wonderful to use at places like Sea World or the zoo because it allows our older daughter (almost 3) the freedom to get out and explore and yet offer her somewhere to sit and rest when she gets tired. It is very light and fits very nicely in our van (2011 Sienna). Much much much better than the Graco Duo that I used to have and very quickly got rid of (heavy, bulky, hard to steer). You can even use only one hand on the Joovy with no problem!! I got the orange model and love the color. My baby (10 months) is very comfortable in the front seat. She always seems to fall asleep in it, and I love that you can move that little section up so her little feet don't just hang there. You won't regret it.

We bought the ultra light version for more money but frankly it's really heavy, and then when 2 kids are on it, good luck trying to turn the thing. It steers fine but you feel like you are pushing a train and it is heavy.Perhaps what is the most annoying thing is what other people have said---when you have your newborn infant in it in their car seat, it is impossible for your toddler to sit in the back part because the back rest is slanted downward so bad your little one won't be comfortable and wondering why they are sitting like a second class citizen! I mean get real Joovy product developers which I hope wake up and read this. When you have a newborn, you want to make your second older child feel very special too, and the crappy seat at the back leaves nothing to be desired.they can of course stand just fine but she gets tired. I imagine it will be fine once the newborn is out of his carrier seat, but I think I checked that out too and the back rest for the back seat still doesn't go up all the way. Again crappy engineering and a very important detail overlooked.Another thing I really do not like is that up while it says it's compatable with certain carsseats, which we made sure of, your car seat just sits on top and doesmt even snap in! They have this read strap that you essentially pull over the cars seat to hold the carsseat in place. I just never feel secure with it. Yeah, it sits sort of in a cradle part but it is not snapped in like you might expect. The only thing I like about it is the pretty orange color and the sun visor thing that covers a lot at least with regards to the baby. It was easy to assemble and it took me less than an hour while watching TV and taking breaks. It was stupid I think that they made the visor black. Why? Black gets really hot. Why didn't they make the visor orange like the rest of the stroller? Again poor engineering and thought. The bottom line is that for this money I would skip the ultralight or regular joovy stroller. If you don't care about your other child's comfort in that back crappy seat, then get the non ultra light as its cheaper. I mean if your pushing a heavy stroller what does it matter if it's heavier as they are both uncomfortable so at least you won't feel bad about spending as much.To fold it up it's fairly easy but we never want to do it as you have to pull out the front bar that holds the car seat and then the joovy takes up our entire small SUV trunk. Forget about trying to take this train of a stroller on a city bus as the drivers would surely get mad. It's ok for short walks. As such, I would have rather spent half the money on any other brand that has a comfortable normal backseat for your other rider and also has the platform stand.
