We decided to contact the company (instead of Amazon) so they could just send us the one part we needed. Long story short, after many calls and emails (and very little response), I finally had to send a threatening email saying I would be leaving horrible reviews, calling the owner, demanding our money back, etc. if we didn't have the sun canopy by the end of the week (we were going on a trip and bought this stroller specifically for it!). After that, we finally received the canopy. The stroller is wonderful, and if you watch the video, you'll see why we love it so much! I would DEFINITELY recommend it, and if, for some reason, you don't receive all the parts in your box, I recommend dealing with Amazon instead.A note about the video: I apologize for the poor production quality. I took the videos with my iPhone while we were out on a walk. Also, sorry about the dog poop in the basket! =)
16 of 16 people found the following review helpful. After doing a lot of research on lightweight strollers, we decided on the Veloce because of the price, Consumer Reports ratings, comfort for our son (suspension and seat), sun canopy, and colors. We received the stroller, set it up, put our baby in, and the strap is already tight on him. He is 10 months and 23 lbs and we bought this stroller for the long haul to use up to 40 lbs. We will have to return it. Interestingly, I called customer service and the crotch strap is almost 2 inches longer on the Mia Moda Facile stroller! (FYI... the crotch strap is 7 inches to the very top of the buckle on the Veloce and almost 9 inches to the top of the buckle on the Facile per customer service.) So, if you're looking for a lightweight stroller that will last you for as long as your child wants to be in a stroller (as we were), this may not be the one for you.UPDATE 9/6/12 - I should have remembered to update this review previously. We called customer service and had them send us a spare strap set because we liked all of other stroller features so much and could not find the same combination of features (see above) in any other stroller. We detached the fabric from the stroller frame and my mother in law sewed in a new, longer crotch strap for us.. this stroller has worked out great as a result and for us, it was worth tailoring it. Our son is now 29 lbs and almost 2 years old and this stroller still has tons of use left. We are really happy we stayed with it and modified it.
6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. It took me a long time to finally select a stroller for my 21 month old daughter and the veloce stroller fit my needs (good reviews, features, price, and color) We had used the Graco Travel System stroller since my daughter was born, but it was just too big and could not fit in our new car's trunk. The box arrived quickly and sooner than expected and I excitedly put it together that night. I was happy: It maneuvered well, moved smoothly, strong frame, the seating was very soft and comfortable, and when I put my daughter in the seat, she loved it! MAJOR PROBLEM: the harness, my daughter is 35 inches tall (only 25 pounds) and the harness barely fit over her shoulders. The harness was extended to the very end and could not go any further. Well, with that being said, she would, most likely, be able to use it only for a couple of months if we're lucky. I believe this is a design flaw or perhaps it was designed for a younger or smaller child, b/c if the harness was made longer, there would be no issues. One other minor problem was the latch to prevent the stroller from opening, it was personally hard for me to close (or maybe I'm just weak??) Great stoller-IF the harness was longer! Despite this flaw and taking into account the other positive features, I would recommend this stroller, BUT not if you have a taller child. In the end, I sadly had to return the stroller to Amazon.
